What is Medela 2-Phase Expression® Technology ?

Phase 1: Stimulation
The pump uses rapid, shallow suction to gently stimulate the breast and initiate let-down, just like a baby does at the beginning of a feed.

Phase 2: Expression
Once let-down is achieved, the pump switches to a slower, deeper suction rhythm to efficiently express milk while maintaining comfort.
